Yonah Yasmeh is a California civil litigation attorney who represents employees, injured plaintiffs, individuals, and small businesses in disputes against employers, insurance carriers, corporations, and other well-resourced adversaries. His practice is grounded in structure, precision, and accountability. Whether handling an employment dispute, personal injury claim, or general civil litigation matter, Yonah prepares each case with a trial-ready approach focused on credibility, leverage, and meaningful results.
A significant part of Yonah's practice is dedicated to employment litigation. He represents California employees in wage-and-hour claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related workplace disputes under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, the California Labor Code, Title VII, and other applicable employment laws. Yonah assists clients through pre-litigation negotiations, CRD and EEOC proceedings, PAGA notices, settlement discussions, and civil litigation. He understands that employment disputes often involve more than lost wages. They can affect a person's livelihood, reputation, professional future, and sense of security.
Yonah also represents injured plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle collisions, trucking and commercial vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, dog-bite cases, and wrongful death actions. He approaches injury cases with methodical factual development, early preservation of evidence, careful documentation of liability and damages, and strategic positioning against insurance carriers. His goal is to build cases that are not only persuasive in settlement negotiations, but also prepared for litigation if the carrier refuses to fairly resolve the claim.
Yonah earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. Before co-founding Yasmeh Law Group, he practiced at California employment law firms where he developed his foundation in employment litigation. That experience continues to shape his practice today. He is direct in negotiation, methodical in preparation, and committed to pursuing outcomes that reflect the true value of the case.
